Moving Through Life with EDS/JHS

This skills building and support group is designed for individuals with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and/or Joint Hypermobility Disorder (JHS). Topics will include active vs. passive coping, pacing, and navigating medical care with EDS/JHS and related conditions. Each session includes a brief coping practice and group discussion about the experience of living with these conditions. Participation in this group will provide an increased understanding of EDS/JHS and its connection to chronic pain and related symptoms, and practical strategies for pacing activity to maintain an active lifestyle while avoiding symptom flare-ups.
