Personal Statement & Approach:
I approach care from the perspective of a wounded healer. I live with the goal of empathy in the forefront of my thoughts and actions, and strive to offer compassion to all people. I love being a part of an integrative team, especially with those with similar goals. I believe the work we do together creates an almost magical synergy that can change the world one patient at a time. My 'specialty' or primary focus the majority of my career has been around mental health. Extending empathy and compassion to this marginalized and stigmatized population allows me to practice the attributes I strive for.
