  • Yoga is an ancient practice that connects the body, breath, and mind. This M1 series is an introduction to Yoga techniques, focusing on increasing relaxation and discovering how to breathe and move without additional pain or distress. This practice includes slow-paced, gentle movements coordinated with breath, followed by a breathing practice and meditation. Both standing and lying positions will be included and modifications will be individualized for each student’s needs. This class is suitable for those new to the practice of Yoga, and for those with some physical limitations and/or in recovery.

  • This M2 series is a continuing progression of the Yoga techniques that are introduced in Osher’s Yoga to Restore (M1) class. This series focuses on relaxing and energizing the whole self, finding mobility and stability, without causing additional pain or distress. This series intends to facilitate self-regulation (or steady energy). This series includes slow-paced, gentle movements coordinated with breath, followed by a breathing practice and meditation. Standing, kneeling, and lying positions will be offered. Modifications will be available. This M2 series is suitable for those with some experience in practicing Yoga and for those comfortable moving on their own.

  • This class is designed to offer support and space for digestion of any type of loss in one's life. The movements will be done slowly, gently and with attention on breath to provide safety and regulation in the system with a short, guided meditation at the end. Postures will include seated and lying forward folds, twists and side stretches appropriately modified for each student. During the beginning and end of the class there will be time to connect with others and share experiences.

  • This class is a next-step series for those who have previously completed Osher's Yoga Support for Hypermobility (a class designed for those with Hypermobility Syndrome, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, and other chronic conditions). It provides on-going support for progress towards building physical steadiness and strength, exploring stabilizing breath, and increasing one's trust in their own system.

  • This M3 series is an active integration of Yoga techniques introduced in Osher’s Yoga to Restore (M1) and Yoga to Regulate (M2) Classes. This series focuses on building stability, strength, and mobility within already defined areas of comfort. This series intends to facilitate the retention of energy and wellbeing. This practice includes mindful movements coordinated with breath, followed by breathing practice and meditation. Standing, kneeling, and lying positions will be offered. Modifications will be available. This M3 series is suitable for those with prior experience in practicing Yoga and for those who are looking to grow within their practice.
